Progressive orthotic treatment is unique to Theta-Orthotics and makes our treatment different from any other orthotic treatment in the world. Clinical tests with more than nine thousand patients over the last twenty years has found the following facts to be true: 

• Every five degree increase in wedge design generates twice the treatment benefit.
• Patients must begin treatment at a tolerable correction level or they will not continue. 
• All patients eventually adjust to the starting angular correction.
• Most patient will eventually require an increased correction level as adjustment takes place. 
• Optimal correction once the foot adjusts, is between 30-40 degrees for most patients.
